Why annual check-ups are a must for every Man?

Men’s Health Awareness Week (June 9–15) is a reminder for men to prioritize their health.

One of the simplest yet most powerful steps is an annual health check-up. According to Dr. Manisha Arora, Director at CK Birla Hospital, yearly screenings help detect silent threats like high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol - conditions that often show no early symptoms.

Essential tests include blood pressure, blood sugar, lipid profile, CBC, and liver and kidney function tests.

Men over 50 should also undergo PSA tests for prostate health and colonoscopies for colon cancer.

Mental health check-ups are equally vital to identify issues like anxiety or depression. Early diagnosis not only improves treatment outcomes but also helps in making necessary lifestyle changes.

In a country like India, where nearly 50% of diabetics are undiagnosed, preventive care is critical. Annual check-ups are not just routine - they’re life-saving. Don’t wait for symptoms - get checked today.
