Jaipur is embracing the festive spirit of Teej with breathtaking artwork at the Rajasthan Tourism Building. The murals depict Teej Mata’s royal procession, crafted using 24-carat gold, silver leaf, and Ganga water-infused colors. Led by seventh-generation Vedic artist Ramu Ramdev, the project took over eight months to complete. Traditional materials like stone powder, chalk, and river clay were used, shaped with henna cones to create intricate 3D textures. Vedic mantras were chanted throughout the process to maintain spiritual sanctity.
The murals showcase detailed scenes of the procession, including priests, guards, musicians, and decorative elephants. A notable feature is the depiction of Lord Ganesha with a 24-carat gold crown. Landmarks like Amer Fort, Mehrangarh Fort, and Deeg Palace are also portrayed, enhancing the royal ambiance.
This artistic endeavor, supported by Deputy CM Diya Kumari and the Tourism Minister, aims to offer visitors a glimpse into Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage. The fusion of traditional artistry with sacred elements makes this a must-see attraction during the Teej festival.
