Woman and Brother-in-Law murder husband with sleeping pills after affair!

A chilling murder plot came to light in Himachal Pradesh when Karan Dev died at Mata Rooprani Maggo Hospital on July 13 after being brought in by his wife, Sushmita, who claimed he was electrocuted. However, a post-mortem report revealed the cause of death was poisoning with sleeping pills, not electrocution, prompting a deeper investigation.

Police discovered that Sushmita had been having an affair with her brother-in-law, Rohan Sharma, and the pair conspired to kill Karan to be together. Rohan confessed to administering the pills, while Sushmita orchestrated the cover-up. Both were arrested and charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.

This case highlights a disturbing intersection of lust, betrayal, and premeditated crime. Authorities are now investigating how the duo obtained the pills and whether any others were involved. The hospital staff who initially misdiagnosed the case are also under scrutiny. The couple remains in custody as the investigation deepens.
