Can Lord Krishna be experienced today?

While Lord Krishna is an ancient deity, many contemporary saints and devotees claim tangible experiences of his presence - through voice, vision, energy, or divine ecstasy.

One notable example is A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of ISKCON, who led devotees globally in kirtan chanting and reported heartfelt communion with Krishna as the Supreme Being . In Utah, Charu Das, a modern ISKCON teacher, established a Radha-Krishna temple and uses mantra music and spiritual rap to convey what he calls Krishna’s “divinely guided” connection to his community .

Another remarkable account is from Gopi Krishna (yogi), a spiritual teacher who described experiencing Kundalini awakening—a wave of divine light and love he associated with Krishna’s cosmic energy .

These modern encounters mirror ancient tales of Mirabai, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and Gaudiya Vaishnava saints who experienced Krishna in ecstatic devotion .

Whether through deep devotion, spiritual awakening, or mystical experience, these modern accounts suggest that Krishna continues to be experientially present to sincere seekers today.
