The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reported a total income of ₹9,741.71 crore for FY24, marking a sharp 48% increase from ₹6,558.80 crore in FY23.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) remained the primary growth driver, contributing ₹5,761 crore. Other significant revenue sources included ICC distributions (₹1,042.35 crore), media rights (₹813.14 crore), and interest income (₹986.45 crore).
The IPL's business valuation reached $18.5 billion in 2025, representing a 12.9% year-on-year increase. Royal Challengers Bengaluru topped franchise valuations at $269 million, while Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings followed at $242 million and $235 million respectively.
This growth reflects the IPL's evolution into a billion-dollar phenomenon driven by global viewership and sponsorship demand.
