According to Chef Dheeraj Mathur from Radisson Blu, this trend is gaining popularity, especially among those who enjoy specialty coffee. Instead of adding sugary syrups or artificial flavors, fruits are either added directly while brewing or during the fermentation of coffee beans - a technique known as fruit co-fermentation.

This technique not only enhances the taste but also opens the door to culinary innovation, giving baristas and chefs room to experiment. The idea is to pair the rich bitterness of coffee with the tangy freshness of fruits, resulting in a more vibrant and refreshing cup.
