  1. Gentle Cleansing: Use a sulfate-free, non-stripping cleanser twice daily to remove sweat, sebum, and impurities without compromising the skin's natural barrier.

  2. Regular Exfoliation: Dead skin cells accumulate faster in damp conditions. Incorporate gentle exfoliation 1-2 times a week using enzyme or lactic acid-based exfoliants to prevent dullness and congestion.

  3. Lightweight Hydration: Opt for gel-based moisturizers containing hyaluronic acid or glycerin. These provide necessary hydration without clogging pores, keeping the skin fresh and non-greasy.(Moneycontrol)

  4. Sun Protection: Even on cloudy days, UV rays can damage the skin. Apply a broad-spectrum, gel-based sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily to protect against sun damage.(The Financial Express)

  8. Avoid Overuse of Actives: Limit the use of active ingredients like retinol or glycolic acid during the monsoon to prevent skin irritation and maintain the skin's natural barrier.
