The trailer of "Maa" dropped on Thursday and immediately sparked buzz across social media. The film features Kajol in a fierce role as a protective mother, battling demonic forces to save her daughter. Filmmaker Karan Johar shared the trailer on Instagram, calling it “an incredible trailer” with “SUPER HIT written all over it.” He praised Kajol for delivering what he claims could be “the best role of her life.”

Directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Subbarayan, Maa unfolds in the cursed town of Chandanpur, where girls mysteriously go missing and a haunted tree harbors evil. The trailer shows intense supernatural sequences, including Kajol’s powerful scenes of resistance and pain.

Also starring Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, and Kherin Sharma, Maa promises a dark, emotional horror experience. The film is set to hit theatres on June 27.
