SHOCKING: 5 Medical students killed as Air India dreamliner CRASHES into hostel!

An absolute horror unfolded today as Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner carrying 242 people, crashed into the lunch mess of the B.J. Medical College hostel in Ahmedabad’s Meghani Nagar area shortly after takeoff at 1:38 PM IST. The collision tragically claimed the lives of five medical students - four undergraduates and one postgraduate - as they sat down for their midday meal .

Disturbing visuals show the aircraft’s wreckage embedded into the hostel roof, with food plates still on tables - frozen in the moment of impact . Rescue workers have recovered at least 30 bodies from the scene, including victims from the plane and hostel. Over a hundred more may still be trapped under debris as NDRF, fire crews, and police clear the wreckage.

Families of the students and passengers have been alerted through hotlines set up by Air India and local authorities. Intensive rescue efforts are ongoing, supported by aid from state and national agencies. As investigations proceed, this devastating event sends shockwaves through India's aviation and educational communities.
