Superstar Akshay Kumar made a sensational comeback to the fashion ramp after 12 long years, turning showstopper for designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock at the ongoing India Couture Week 2025 in Delhi. At 57, the actor owned the stage in an ivory sherwani featuring intricate silk thread embroidery, a split bandhgala collar, and padded shoulders. He paired the look with matching trousers, a crisp shirt, black sunglasses, and embroidered juttis—exuding timeless charm and elegance.

Speaking to the media, Akshay recalled his last ramp walk with the same designers 12 years ago. “It’s an honour to walk again,” he said.

The designer label’s new collection drew inspiration from royal palaces like Laxmi Vilas and Jaipur’s City Palace. With detailed embroidery, veils, emeralds, and regal silhouettes, the line paid homage to India's royal heritage and modern maharanis.

Akshay praised the effort behind fashion shows, calling them a “25-minute magic” created by immense hard work. “Falguni and Shane present India on a global stage,” he added.
