26-Year-Old allegedly Raped in moving ambulance in Bihar!

In a horrifying incident on July 24, a 26-year-old woman participating in a Home Guard recruitment race at the Bihar Military Police grounds in Bodh Gaya fainted during the physical endurance round. An ambulance at the venue was summoned for medical assistance. Shockingly, while en route to the hospital, the woman alleges she was gang-raped inside the moving ambulance by the driver, Vinay Kumar, and a technician, Ajit Kumar, both of whom were later arrested. She told police three to four men were inside the vehicle.

Upon receiving her complaint, authorities registered an FIR and launched a Special Investigation Team led by SDPO Saurabh Jaiswal, with forensic experts deployed and CCTV footage used to trace the ambulance’s route. The Gaya SSP Anand Kumar confirmed both accused were arrested within two hours of the incident.

Senior police officials assured that evidence collection, including CCTV and medical reports, will strengthen the case. A fast-track trial is anticipated. The incident has raised urgent concerns about safety protocols at recruitment sites and the misuse of emergency services intended to assist vulnerable candidates.
