Two Delhi schools receive bomb threat emails; police conduct search operations!

Two schools in Delhi - one in Chanakyapuri and the other in Dwarka - received bomb threat emails on the morning of July 14, 2025, prompting swift action by authorities. As a precaution, both schools were immediately evacuated, ensuring the safety of students and staff. The Delhi Police responded with bomb detection squads and dog units to thoroughly inspect the premises.

The threatening emails caused panic among parents and school authorities, who remained on high alert as the searches were conducted. Fortunately, no suspicious items or explosives were found during the operation, and the threat was later deemed a hoax.

This incident adds to a growing trend of fake bomb threats targeting educational institutions across the country, raising concerns about the misuse of digital platforms for spreading fear.

Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the emails and identify those responsible. Meanwhile, school administrations are reviewing their emergency response protocols, and many parents have urged for stronger cybersecurity measures and security drills to better prepare for such situations in the future.
