Ghaziabad is all set to welcome a modern township near the Delhi-Meerut expressway.
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has launched the Harnandipuram township project and has hired a private consultant to prepare a detailed project report (DPR). The first phase of the report is expected to be ready in two months.
The township, located close to the Delhi-Meerut Road and RRTS corridor, will feature smart infrastructure, metro and RRTS connectivity, power-efficient systems, and modern street lighting. Land acquisition has begun in eight villages, including Nagla Firozpur Mohan, Champat Nagar, Mathurapur, and Bhandara Khurd.
Additionally, a new elevated road, similar to the Hindon elevated road, is planned to improve connectivity to Delhi. This development is expected to ease traffic and enhance residential appeal, making it a strategic urban expansion move by GDA.
