Breathless on Stairs? Here's What Your Body’s Telling You!

Do you feel breathless even after climbing just a few stairs?

While many brush it off as tiredness or age, it could actually be a warning sign of deeper health issues. One common cause is anaemia, where a lack of red blood cells limits oxygen supply to your body, causing fatigue and breathlessness.

Heart diseases like coronary artery disease or heart failure can also make even light activity difficult as the heart struggles to pump blood.

Lung conditions such as asthma or COPD can impair oxygen flow, leading to wheezing and shortness of breath. Surprisingly, stress and anxiety may also trigger breathlessness due to rapid breathing. Lastly, being overweight puts extra pressure on your lungs and heart, making even simple tasks feel exhausting.

If you often feel out of breath, it's time to consult a doctor and not ignore the signs your body is sending you.
