In a chilling case from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, police allege that Beena Devi plotted her husband’s murder with her lover, Manoj Kumar. On the night before the shooting, she reportedly drugged her husband and attempted to strangle him, only to fail.

The next morning, she lured her husband outside under false pretenses, then handed a country-made pistol to Manoj, who shot the 36-year-old security guard, Suresh Kumar, in the chest outside their home. As Suresh's brother rushed to help, the assailant fired again, narrowly missing but injuring him with shrapnel. Manoj fled but surrendered at the local police station shortly after.

Investigators revealed the murder was premeditated, with Beena encouraging the shooter, reportedly urging, “Shoot as many bullets as needed, but don’t let him survive.” Shockingly, the couple’s children told authorities that their mother had drugged all of them and pleaded, “Sir, our mother got our father murdered. Please send her to jail.”

According to police, Beena and Manoj had been involved in an illicit affair, which caused tensions and prior village council interventions. Both suspects are now in custody, and law enforcement is probing the origin of the weapon and the nature of the relationship.
