Summer is here and nothing beats the heat like a chilled scoop of fruity ice cream. If you're craving a cool dessert but don’t have an ice cream maker, worry not! Here's an easy and delicious watermelon ice cream recipe you can make at home - machine-free.

Start by blending 4 cups of seedless watermelon cubes into a smooth purée. Strain it if you prefer a silky texture. In a large bowl, mix the purée with 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoons honey or sugar, a pinch of salt, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whip 1 cup of cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold in ½ cup of sweetened condensed milk. Now, combine both mixtures slowly to retain fluffiness. Add red food colour for a vibrant look (optional).

Freeze the mix in an airtight container for at least 6 hours—and enjoy your refreshing, creamy homemade watermelon ice cream!
