RCB Victory Parade Turns Tragic: 1 Dead, 50 injured in stampede at Chinnaswamy stadium!

What was meant to be a historic celebration turned tragic on Wednesday as a stampede broke out during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) victory parade at Bengaluru’s iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium. The felicitation ceremony, organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association to honor RCB’s maiden IPL title win, drew an overwhelming crowd of fans.

According to initial reports, at least one person lost their life and over 50 sustained injuries as chaos erupted outside the stadium. Several attendees reportedly fainted due to overcrowding and suffocation. Bengaluru Police had earlier issued an advisory, but the massive turnout overwhelmed crowd control efforts.

Visuals showed police and emergency teams rushing the injured to nearby hospitals. Adding to the commotion, sudden rain lashed parts of the city during the event. Authorities are yet to confirm official figures, but the incident has cast a shadow over what should have been a joyous celebration for RCB fans.
