Indians ordered Rs 64,000 crore worth goods from quick-commerce platforms like Blinkit and Instamart in FY25, more than doubling from the previous year's Rs 30,000 crore, according to a Careedge Ratings report released Thursday.
The gross order value is expected to grow three times to Rs 2 lakh crore by FY28. Platform revenues surged to Rs 10,500 crore in FY25 from Rs 450 crore in FY22, projected to reach Rs 34,500 crore by FY28.
The 'take rate' increased to 18% in FY25 from 7-9% in FY22 as platforms shift focus from hypergrowth to profitability. Only 1% of India's grocery demand has shifted to quick-commerce, indicating massive growth potential ahead.
