Priyanka Gandhi blasts Govt: "Pahalgam attack exposed your failure"!

On Day 7 of the Monsoon Session (July 29), Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra delivered a scathing critique of the central government's security failures during the Operation Sindoor debate in the Lok Sabha. Addressing the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, she said bluntly: “You failed to protect them,” criticizing the absence of adequate security at the Baisaran tourist meadow where 26 civilians were killed .

Gandhi highlighted the intelligence and deployment lapses that allowed terrorists to strike at a popular spot lacking armed presence. Her comments echoed those of opposition MPs - including Gaurav Gogoi, who condemned India’s inability to track or prevent the attack despite advanced surveillance tools and robust security infrastructure in Kashmir .

Priyanka’s remarks intensified the political heat, framing the tragedy as a symbol of governmental negligence rather than an isolated incident. According to opposition sources, the failure to adequately deploy armed forces and ambulances exposed grievous flaws in the administration’s preparedness—the nation and victims paid the ultimate price.
