"Not one Nation blamed Pakistan": Rahul Gandhi slams Govt's global failure!

During the Operation Sindoor debate on July 29, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi delivered a scathing critique of the Centre in Lok Sabha, arguing that not a single country condemned Pakistan - only terrorism was condemned. He warned this equates India on par with Pakistan, damaging its global standing despite being on the receiving end of cross-border aggression .

Gandhi pointed to a meeting where General Munir, along with U.S. General Michael Correla and military leaders from four Central Asian countries, convened to discuss counter-terror measures. Gandhi questioned the government's approach: “Under whose pressure was the ceasefire imposed, turning deterrence mechanics upside down?”

He accused India of hiding under foreign intervention, citing global silence on Pakistan’s role in the Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent ceasefire decision. Gandhi argued that India’s diplomacy failed to assert its narrative, allowing external actors to frame the conflict. His remarks intensified scrutiny of the government’s foreign policy during the post-attack period.
