When Reeva Sood’s husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2012, she made a life‑changing choice: switch to chemical‑free farming. She returned to Himachal Pradesh and purchased 70 acres of barren land in Una district. Using simple methods cow dung compost, herbal sprays, and hard work she transformed the dry, rocky terrain into a lush organic farm growing dragon fruit and herbal plants like ashwagandha, tulsi, stevia, sarpagandha, and moringa.
Reeva also set up an FPO named Him 2 Hum, where over 300 rural women grow and process medicinal crops. These women now earn more, gain new skills, and feel empowered. With her brand Agriva Naturally, she processes dragon fruit juice and herbal products, reaching a turnover of around ₹1 crore per year.
