This critical tech - comprising both the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) - was recovered under stringent security between June 13 and June 16, and flown to Delhi on June 24 for decoding . A joint AAIB–NTSB team led the extraction, aiming to reconstruct the sequence of technical and human actions leading to the crash .

The retrieval marks a major milestone in the probe of India’s deadliest aviation accident in a decade.
