In the rush for flavour and visual appeal, we often overlook the hidden dangers in our food. According to Swami Ramdev, artificial food colours—found in jalebis, candies, sherbets, and ice creams—can silently damage your health, especially your DNA.
Research links synthetic colours to severe health issues like skin allergies, thyroid imbalances, asthma, weak memory, and even hyperactivity in children.
Banned in the U.S., colours like Yellow 5, Red 40, and Blue 1 are still widely used in India. Swami Ramdev urges people to avoid such toxic substances and adopt a natural, yogic lifestyle. His advice? Practise yoga, eat fresh and wholesome meals, drink plenty of water, and strengthen digestion with remedies like Gulkand and Triphala.
He warns that artificial colours are slow poisons. Replacing them with natural alternatives and mindful eating is the real medicine for long-term wellness. Choose health over taste—your future self will thank you.
