15 seconds of Terror: Pet Husky attacks woman in Gurugram!

On July 27, a pet Husky attacked a woman at a residential complex on Golf Course Road, Gurugram. CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts show the dog clamped onto her hand and would not let go for about 15 seconds, in a violent and prolonged assault. The incident reportedly took place in a high-end society, capturing widespread attention and raising questions about pet safety protocols in residential areas.

Further reports confirm the dog was a privately owned pet, prompting calls from residents and local activists for stricter enforcement of pet management rules, especially in densely populated complexes. The injured woman was rushed to a nearby hospital and received immediate medical care, though her current condition has not been disclosed.

This attack has reignited debate on the need for regulations such as mandatory leashing, vaccination checks, and liability mechanisms for pet owners. Several politicians and civic groups have urged swift policy review to prevent such dangerous incidents in future.
