India is making a bold mark in the world of cocktails. In the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list, five Indian bars have secured top spots-showcasing India’s rising talent in mixology.

The highlight is Lair in New Delhi, which ranked #8, making it the highest-ranked Indian bar and the best in the country. Known for its hidden speakeasy vibe and creative cocktails using edible paint, Lair is now a global name.

Bengaluru continues to impress with three bars in the top 50:

• SOKA (#28), famous for its glow-in-the-dark drinks,

• ZLB23 at The Leela Palace (#31), blending jazz and Japanese flavours,

• Bar Spirit Forward (#37), with its modern martinis.

Boilermaker in Goa secured the #30 spot with its bold rum-based drinks and tropical flavours.

Four more Indian bars, including Sidecar (Delhi) and Bombay Canteen (Mumbai), also made it to the extended top 100 list.

India is not just catching up-it’s now a serious player in Asia’s bar culture.
