What started with a Girlfriend's Bouquet became a ₹4,000 Cr Global Brand!

In 1994, a frustrated younger man named Vikas Gutgutia wandered through Delhi’s flower markets trying to buy a meaningful bouquet for his girlfriend — but found only wilted roses and dull arrangements. Rather than give up, he launched his own venture, Ferns N Petals, with borrowed funds and unrelenting hustle. He personally handled everything: bouquet design, logistics, customer calls. He went back to farmers, supplied quality seeds, and built a flower-supply chain from scratch.

Despite early setbacks - including a forced shutdown over regulatory issues - Vikas persevered. He called customers himself to rebuild trust and secured a crucial contract with the Taj hotels.  Fast forward to 2025: Ferns N Petals has grown into a ₹4,000 crore gifting and decor brand with presence in over 100 countries.

What began as a simple search for a good bouquet turned into a global flower empire - proving that simple frustration can become a remarkable opportunity.
