This Indian startup turns trash into toilets!

In many parts of India, plastic waste is a big problem. But a group called Green Ammo, started by Amit Roy and Momo, found a smart way to fix this. They take used plastic bottles and fill them with soft plastic waste like chips packets and wrappers. These become bottle bricks – strong enough to build walls, benches, toilets, and even memorials.

This idea started from a small bench in Nagaland. Now, it's being used in Assam, Meghalaya, and other states. Each bottle brick removes 250 grams of plastic waste and lasts more than 300 years!

Even school kids are helping - they collect waste, fill bottles, and build their own school walls. One school in Shillong, St. Michael’s, now teaches students how to make these bricks.

This project is not just about cleaning the environment. It also teaches kids responsibility, helps people in villages build better spaces, and saves the Earth from plastic.

One plastic bottle may look useless… but when reused, it can build a school, a toilet - and hope.
