Dogs bring love and joy, but sadly, some breeds have very short lifespans.
Larger breeds, in particular, tend to age faster, making them more vulnerable to health issues.
Great Danes and Bernese Mountain Dogs live only 6–8 years, often suffering from heart disease, cancer, and joint problems. Irish Wolfhounds and Bullmastiffs share similar fates, averaging 6–10 years due to heart issues and bone cancer.
The powerful Caucasian Shepherd lives just around 5.4 years. Newfoundland and Saint Bernard also struggle with heart and joint issues due to their massive size. Rottweilers, known for their loyalty, live 8–10 years but are prone to cancer. English Bulldogs and Boxers face breathing and cancer-related complications, shortening their lifespan to around 8–10 years.
French Mastiffs live only 5–8 years due to bloat and heart conditions. While these breeds are loving companions, they need proper care, nutrition, and regular health checkups to ensure the best quality of life.
