As the sacred Amarnath Yatra gears up to begin on July 3, the Kashmir traders' community has come forward with a powerful message of unity and hospitality, warmly welcoming pilgrims from across the country. In a statement, a prominent Kashmir business body expressed wholehearted support for the yatra, promising seamless cooperation, safe transit, and all necessary amenities for the devotees.

"This is not just a religious journey, it's a bridge of faith and peace", said representatives, emphasizing that the pilgrims are guests of the Valley. Local traders are preparing to provide food, lodging, and medical aid, reflecting the region’s age-old tradition of welcoming visitors with open arms - regardless of faith.

The statement is being hailed as a positive gesture amid national attention on security arrangements and logistical planning. As thousands prepare to trek the spiritually significant route to the Amarnath cave shrine, this gesture from Kashmir’s business community is a hopeful reminder of shared harmony in a sensitive region.
