The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A) has unveiled a new two-year Blended MBA Programme in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (AI), designed especially for mid-career professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to bridge strategic leadership with advanced analytical and AI capabilities. 

Delivered in a blended mode, the course combines live online sessions (“direct-to-device”) with three on-campus modules spread over six terms. Learners gain access to IIM A’s computing infrastructure and library resources, and can choose from approximately 20 electives including Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics, Human-AI Collaboration, Gen-AI & Agentic AI, AI Ethics & Policy, and Supply Chain Digitisation.

IIM A’s Director, Prof Bharat Bhasker, emphasised that analytics and AI are now central to how enterprises compete and create value, calling this programme “a rigorous pathway for ambitious managers and entrepreneurs to acquire high-impact skills”. The programme also offers a flexible exit option after one year with a Post Graduate Diploma. Eligibility requires a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate and relevant work experience.

With this launch, IIM A is responding to rapid shifts in business landscapes - where decisions are increasingly data-driven and AI-enabled - and offering a pathway for professionals to evolve accordingly.
