Among these, approximately 7,700 channels were traced to China-linked campaigns, producing content in both Chinese and English to promote narratives favorable to the Chinese government . Another 2,000 channels were tied to Russian operations, spreading pro-Kremlin messaging and critical viewpoints on Ukraine, NATO, and other Western interests .

TAG’s bulletin detailed enforcement across multiple countries, targeting sophisticated networks that used multilingual and coordinated inauthentic behavior, including ads accounts and domains linked to disinformation efforts . Deletions also included influence campaigns linked to Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Israel, Romania, and Ghana . This action reflects Google’s intensified commitment to combat foreign state actors manipulating online discourse—a critical move as social platforms face growing pressure to protect democratic information spaces.
