Cricket at Olympics 2028! The biggest stage clash begins July 12.

Cricket will return to the Olympics at the 2028 Los Angeles Games, with matches scheduled from July 12-29 at Fairgrounds Stadium in Pomena, approximately 50km from Los Angeles. Six men's and women's teams will compete in T20 format, with 15-member squads totaling 180 players.

Medal matches are set for July 20 and 29, with most matchdays featuring double-headers. Cricket last appeared at the 1900 Paris Olympics, where only Great Britain and France competed.

The International Olympic Committee approved cricket alongside baseball/softball, flag football, lacrosse, and squash as new sports for 2028. Cricket's growing US popularity was demonstrated during the 2024 T20 World Cup.
