You see colors… but your dog sees something very different!

Ever wondered how clearly your pet sees you - or how far a lion can spot its prey? Turns out, animals view the world in fascinatingly different ways!
Dogs, for instance, don’t see in full color like humans. Their vision is similar to someone with red-green color blindness, but their motion detection is far superior - perfect for catching that flying ball.
Cats have fewer color receptors too, yet their night vision is six times sharper than ours - making them the real nocturnal hunters.
Moving to the wild, eagles can spot a rabbit from almost 3 km away, while lions depend more on motion and contrast than distance. Their eyesight helps them detect even the slightest prey movement in the dark African savannah.
Meanwhile, snakes “see” heat, frogs detect motion, and horses have nearly panoramic vision to sense predators approaching from behind.
Each animal’s vision is nature’s perfect design - evolved for one goal: survival.
