Lemon Juice: A natural remedy for itchy scalp during monsoon!

Monsoon often brings the nuisance of an itchy scalp, dandruff, and increased hair fall. Lemon juice is a simple, effective home remedy to combat these issues. Its citric acid has antifungal and antiseptic properties that help reduce scalp infections, dandruff, and itching, while also enhancing hair shine.

To use, squeeze half a lemon and dilute with a few drops of water. Gently massage it onto your scalp and hair, then rinse after 10-15 minutes. For added nourishment, mix lemon juice with your regular hair oil and apply once a week before shampooing.

Benefits include balancing the scalp’s pH, improving blood circulation, strengthening hair follicles with vitamin C, and naturally cleansing excess oil and dirt. However, perform a patch test first to avoid irritation, and avoid sun exposure immediately after application, as lemon can increase skin sensitivity.

Incorporating lemon juice into your monsoon hair care routine can keep your scalp healthy, itch-free, and your hair strong and shiny.
