Daily almonds lower the stress! says experts.

A recent study published in Scientific Reports found that consuming more than 60 grams of almonds per day roughly 40–45 nuts can significantly reduce oxidative stress, lower inflammation markers, and bolster antioxidant enzymes in the body.

This aligns with findings from Daijiworld reporting that this daily dose helps protect DNA, slows damage caused by free radicals, and supports overall cellular health. Earlier research from Times of India also notes that almonds rich in vitamin E, polyphenols, and healthy fats help neutralize aging-related free radicals, supporting immune function and longevity.

Why 60 g? Studies suggest that while smaller amounts still benefit health, the protective threshold kicks in at around 60 g, maximizing antioxidant benefits.

How to fit them in: Snack on raw or roasted almonds, sprinkle over salads or yogurt, blend into smoothies, use almond butter, or add to stir-fries and breakfast bowls. Regular almond intake may just shield your cells—and your DNA from the aging effects of stress.
