Your UPSC Interview awaits - But first, fix these key details!

Candidates who have cleared the written stage of the UPSC Civil Services Exam and qualified for the personality test or interview round must now complete crucial documentation and detail-updates to be eligible for final selection. According to guidance from the UPSC, those appearing for the interview must update their educational qualification status, upload proof of passing the requisite exam, and provide details such as permanent postal address, higher educational qualifications, employment experience, marital status and parental information.

The personality test will be held at the UPSC premises in New Delhi. Candidates are also required to furnish supporting documents for all claims - making document verification a vital part of the interview process. Failure to properly update or upload required information could result in disqualification or delay in the final selection. For aspirants of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services, these form-filling and document steps are as important as performance on the day. Staying ahead on such administrative requirements can make the difference in being deemed eligible for final appointment.
