A shocking incident in Thane, Maharashtra, has come to light where a 12-year-old boy was slapped and bitten by a man in the lift lobby of a residential building. The attack, caught on CCTV, occurred on July 4 around 5:00 pm, when the child was heading to tuition from his 14th-floor apartment.

According to the NDTV report, the man, believed to be a fellow resident, appeared agitated after the boy allegedly failed to hold the lift door open for him. In the video, the man is seen confronting the child, slapping him multiple times, and even biting him on the shoulder - an act that has sparked widespread outrage.

The boy later informed his family, who approached the police. A case has been filed, and authorities are verifying the identity of the accused using the CCTV footage.
