OpenAI offers One-Year free access to ChatGPT Go in India!

OpenAI has announced that all users in India will receive one year of free access to its mid-tier subscription plan, ChatGPT Go, starting November 4, 2025

The offer applies to both new sign-ups during the promotional window and existing ChatGPT Go subscribers in India.  ChatGPT Go, which was launched in August this year at ₹399 (~US $4.60) per month, gives users enhanced capabilities including higher message limits, more image-generation, file uploads and memory capacity - powered by the GPT-5 model.

With India now OpenAI’s second-largest market, the initiative reflects the company’s “India-first” strategy aimed at expanding adoption of advanced AI across the country.
While the details for redeeming the free year are still to be shared, Indian users have until the promotional start date to register and benefit from the offer.
