India’s age-old knowledge systems—encompassing Vedic sciences, astrology, yoga, meditation and energy healing—are undergoing a digital revival through what is now called Spiritual EdTech. Rather than traditional lecture-style classes, these platforms offer structured online courses, mobile apps and virtual classrooms that teach ancient practices in ways designed for modern life.
Professionals and young learners are gravitating towards this modern blend because it delivers more than spiritual insight—it delivers skills. Focus, decision-making, emotional intelligence, mindfulness and purpose-driven leadership are among the capabilities emphasized. Financially too the trend is gaining traction: the Indian Spiritual EdTech market is currently valued at USD 120-150 million, with expectations of reaching USD 450 million by 2030 as global interest in ancient-tech models grows.
What makes India particularly well-positioned is its living heritage of spiritual traditions combined with a thriving digital infrastructure. The result: startups and learning platforms are scaling rapidly, creating roles such as spiritual coaches, content creators, digital educators, platform managers and community mentors.
