India lose Second ODI as Australia breaks three-series losing streak!

In the second ODI between Australia national cricket team and India national cricket team, India set a competitive total of 264/9 thanks to Rohit Sharma’s 73 and a solid 118-run stand with Shreyas Iyer (61).

However, Australia mounted a smart chase at the Adelaide Oval, propelled by a 59-run, just-39-ball partnership between young Cooper Connolly and Mitchell Owen to grind India’s resistance to dust and seal a two-wicket victory with 22 balls remaining.

The win ends Australia’s three-series losing streak in this format and hands them the series 2-0. India, despite showing flashes of batting brilliance, couldn’t keep control of the chase - bowling lapses, dropped catches and a late surge by Australia proved crucial.

With the series decided, India will look to regroup for the final match, while Australia will carry momentum into future contests.
