Five Morning Drinks That Stabilise Your Blood Sugar!

Managing blood sugar proactively is key for those at risk of pre-diabetes or looking for better metabolic health. According to a recent guide from the Times of India, five morning drinks stand out when used alongside diet and lifestyle changes.

Fenugreek (methi) water: Soak one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds overnight; drinking the water prior to breakfast helps slow sugar absorption and improve insulin action.

Bitter gourd (karela) juice: Its compounds like charantin and polypeptide-p assist insulin function and glucose uptake—a strong choice when taken early in the morning.

Cinnamon-infused water: Cinnamon acts like insulin, improving glucose uptake and reducing oxidative stress—soak a spoonful of powder, drink in the morning for effect.

Indian gooseberry (amla) juice: Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, amla helps fight inflammation and supports stable blood sugar levels when consumed diluted in the morning.

Green tea: Its catechins and polyphenols boost insulin sensitivity and help regulate glucose. Drink unsweetened green tea daily for metabolic support.
