On Monday morning, bomb threat emails sent to three Delhi schools including DPS Dwarka, Modern Convent School, and Shree Ram World School in Dwarka’s Sector 10 prompted immediate evacuations and a full-scale security response.
Delhi Fire Service, police, bomb detection teams, and the Bomb Disposal Squad were swiftly deployed to conduct thorough searches at each location.
DPS Dwarka issued a circular to parents, announcing temporary closure for the day, canceling all tests and activities, and arranging safe transportation for students either via school transport or parent pickup.
This marks the fourth wave of bomb threat emails in the past month, raising growing concerns over the safety and preparedness of educational institutions in Delhi.
While no explosives or suspicious items were discovered, the repeated nature of these threats highlights the critical need for vigilance, transparent communication, and robust protocols. Parents remain anxious, and authorities are stepping up investigations and safeguards to dissuade such disruptions and ensure school safety remains a top priority.
