Speaking from the White House South Lawn, Trump added: “Nobody knows what I’m going to do… Iran’s got a lot of trouble and they want to negotiate.” He claimed Tehran “suggested they come to the White House,” framing the moment as a “ultimatum”. Trump also voiced regret over the conflict, lamenting, “it’s very sad to watch this,” and questioned why Iran hadn’t engaged in diplomacy earlier.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed that the Pentagon has provided Trump with military options—potentially including bunker-buster munitions capable of penetrating Iran’s underground nuclear sites.
