ate Sunday night, Border Security Force (BSF) troops stationed at the Octroi outpost in the RS Pura sector of Jammu intercepted a suspicious figure near the International Border. Identified as Siraj Khan from Sargodha, Pakistan, the individual was spotted around 9:20 pm by vigilant personnel on patrol .

After being challenged, the intruder failed to comply immediately, prompting the troops to fire a few warning rounds. The action successfully deterred the intruder, who was then apprehended near the border fence. Authorities recovered Pakistani currency notes from his possession, raising questions about the intent behind his crossing.

Subsequently, Siraj Khan is being questioned to determine his motive for attempting to enter Indian territory. Officials are probing whether this was a case of deliberate infiltration, unintended straying, or something more complex
