Why Kartik Aaryan said that he doesn’t have friends in Bollywood.

In a candid conversation with Saurabh Dwivedi from The Lallantop, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan opened up about his personal and professional experiences over his 13-year journey in the industry. Known for his confident persona and successful career, Kartik shed light on his unique approach to choosing films and navigating the cutthroat world of Bollywood.

When asked about his decision-making process for selecting scripts, Kartik revealed that he relies solely on his gut instinct. He admitted that he doesn’t consult anyone for advice or suggestions before signing a film. This bold declaration reflects his self-assurance and belief in his intuition. However, the conversation took a more personal turn when Saurabh asked if he had friends in the industry. Kartik’s response was straightforward: he doesn’t have close friends in Bollywood, nor is he interested in making them. While he knows many people and is well-known in the industry, he prefers to keep it professional. His outlook on relationships in the film world is rather pragmatic, emphasizing that people’s connections in Bollywood can be fleeting.

Kartik further explained that the dynamics of the industry make it difficult to maintain lasting friendships. People come together for a film, bond momentarily, and then move on once the project is over. The transient nature of success, failure, and relationships in Bollywood is something he has learned over the years. Yet, he clarified that this doesn’t make him feel lonely. He stays connected with his friends from school and college, maintaining a life outside of Bollywood.

Kartik Aaryan’s candid insights into his career and personal philosophy highlight a grounded and mature perspective on the ever-changing nature of the film industry. His focus remains firmly on his work, as he continues to navigate the world of Bollywood with resilience and clarity.
