In a stark diplomatic warning, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov cautioned the United States today against providing direct military support to Israel amidst the escalating Israel–Iran conflict . With tensions entering a critical sixth day, Ryabkov stressed that any such involvement would severely destabilize the Middle East and risk triggering broader regional consequences.
Illinois-based military analysts highlight how the conflict has already seen a rapid escalation - from Israeli airstrikes on Iranian infrastructure to Iran’s use of hypersonic missiles . While the U.S. is reportedly considering deeper engagement - possibly including operational collaboration with Israel - the Kremlin's intervention signals Moscow's growing concern and desire to curb what it views as dangerous external interference.
The warning arrives as global powers, including China and Turkey, call for restraint . Russia, which shares strategic ties with Tehran and has offered to mediate, appears to be staking a claim in shaping the crisis’s diplomatic direction .
