KisaanSay Raises $2M to Bridge Farmers and Consumers, Expand Operations

KisaanSay, a pioneering direct-from-origin food brand, has successfully raised $2 million in its pre-seed funding round led by Jungle Ventures via First Cheque@Jungle. The funding round also attracted notable participation from senior leaders in the food industry, reflecting strong confidence in the brand’s mission and potential.

The company plans to allocate the funds to enhance its marketing strategies, expand its team, and scale up operations. A key focus will be on growing its diverse product portfolio and extending its distribution network to reach a wider audience.

Founded by Nitin Puri, Manoj Karki, and Vaishali Mehta, KisaanSay aims to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by emphasizing product provenance. The brand collaborates with farmer collectives based in natural farming clusters, including mountain valleys, tribal regions, and arid landscapes. Their commitment ensures that every product is cultivated, minimally processed, and packaged at its source.

With over 80 products spanning 12 categories, KisaanSay operates through an innovative co-brand and co-profit partnership model with 20 farmer collectives, representing a vast network of more than 50,000 farmers. The company’s omnichannel presence includes e-commerce platforms, its own direct-to-consumer platform, and retail outlets across Delhi NCR.

By focusing on transparency, sustainability, and empowering farmers, KisaanSay is redefining how consumers access high-quality, origin-focused food products, setting a benchmark in the Indian food industry.
