A powerful explosion rocked a seminary-cum-mosque in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, injuring four people. The blast happened less than 24 hours after another explosion in the same region, raising fears of increasing violence.
The injured were quickly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the blast, but initial reports suggest it was a planted explosive device.
The seminary was full of students and worshippers when the explosion occurred, creating panic in the area. Security forces rushed to the site and sealed off the area to investigate. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but the region has seen similar incidents in the past linked to militant activities.
Just a day before this explosion, another blast had shaken the area, killing at least one person and injuring several others. Officials are now investigating if the two incidents are connected. The government has condemned the attack and promised strict action against those responsible.
People in the region are living in fear as violence continues to rise. Religious places have often been targeted in past attacks, making the situation even more concerning. Security has been tightened, and authorities are urging citizens to stay alert.
The explosion is a grim reminder of the ongoing security challenges in Pakistan. As investigations continue, many hope for peace and an end to such acts of violence. Authorities are working hard to find those behind the attack and ensure justice for the victims.
