Don’t Visit These Delhi Places Alone!

Delhi is known for its history, culture, and crowded streets, but it also has a mysterious and darker side. Over the years, many places in the city have gained a reputation for being haunted. While some people consider these stories myths, others claim to have experienced strange and unexplainable events. Here are five such places in Delhi along with eerie real-life style experiences.

1. Agrasen Ki Baoli

Tucked away near Connaught Place, this ancient stepwell appears calm during the day but feels unsettling when you walk down its steps alone. A student once shared that as she descended, the surroundings became unusually silent. She felt as if someone was watching her from behind. Even after turning back multiple times and finding no one, the feeling grew so intense that she rushed out without reaching the bottom.

2. Delhi Cantonment

This area is known for one of the most famous ghost stories in Delhi. A cab driver claimed that while driving late at night, he saw a woman dressed in white asking for a lift. When he ignored her and drove faster, he noticed in his rearview mirror that she was running alongside the car at the same speed. Within moments, she disappeared, leaving him completely shaken.

3. Feroz Shah Kotla Fort

This historic fort is believed by many to be inhabited by supernatural beings. Visitors have reported strange experiences over time. One man described hearing whispers very close to his ear while exploring the ruins, even though no one was around. He also felt a sudden push from behind, which made him panic and leave the place immediately.

4. Lothian Cemetery

Being one of the oldest cemeteries in Delhi, this place has an eerie atmosphere. A group of friends visiting in the evening reported hearing footsteps behind them on dry leaves. Each time they stopped to check, the sound stopped as well. One of them even claimed to see a shadowy figure near a grave that vanished instantly.

5. Sanjay Van

This dense forest area becomes extremely quiet after sunset. A couple walking there once heard someone whisper their names. At first, they assumed it was someone joking, but the whisper came again from a different direction. Realizing they were completely alone, they quickly left the place feeling scared and confused.

Whether these stories are real or just urban legends, they continue to fascinate and scare people. These places show a different side of Delhi that is filled with mystery. Haunted or not, they remind us that sometimes there are experiences that cannot be easily explained.
