Beyoncé Makes History at 2025 Grammys Kendrick Lamar Wins Big

The 67th Grammy Awards lit up the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, celebrating the biggest musical moments of 2024. And leading the charge? None other than Beyoncé, who dominated the night with 11 nominations, all thanks to her genre-blending album "Cowboy Carter."

Making history once again, Beyoncé took home the Best Country Album award, becoming the first Black woman in over 50 years to win a country music category. She also won Best Country Duo/Group Performance alongside Miley Cyrus for their hit "II Most Wanted."

The night had its share of unforgettable performances. One of the most emotional moments came when Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars delivered a powerful tribute to Los Angeles, singing "California Dreamin'" in honor of those affected by recent wildfires in Southern California.

The duo later won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song "Die With A Smile." During her acceptance speech, Gaga took a stand for the LGBTQ+ community, saying, "Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love."

Another highlight? Will Smith made a surprise appearance to pay tribute to the legendary Quincy Jones, celebrating his groundbreaking contributions to music.

On the international front, Indian-American artist Chandrika Tandon claimed victory in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category for her album "Triveni," marking her first Grammy win after a nomination in 2009. She triumphed over talented nominees like Anoushka Shankar, Ricky Kej, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Meanwhile, the late, great Prince was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, five years after the Grammys previously celebrated his legacy.
